Day 0: Arrival in Srinagar

Evening

  • Assemble at the designated boarding point in Delhi (RK Ashram / Majnu ka Tila)
  • Meet our tour representative and complete the check-in formalities
  • Board the overnight Volvo AC semi-sleeper bus to Manali / Srinagar / Leh (as per tour route)
  • Settle in for a comfortable overnight journey through the hills

Note: Carry a light jacket and essentials in your hand baggage for the overnight travel

Day 1 – Arrival in Manali | Acclimatize and Explore

Morning

  • Arrive at Manali Volvo Bus Stand (Mall Road or Private Bus Stand)
  • Warm welcome by our representative
  • Transfer to the hotel and check-in
  • Freshen up and rest after the long journey

Afternoon

  • Enjoy lunch (on your own or at the hotel, depending on package)
  • Leisure time to explore nearby Mall Road, local cafés, or relax at the hotel
  • Optional: Visit Hadimba Devi Temple or Vashisht Hot Springs (time permitting)

Evening

  • Attend a short briefing session by the Tour Manager
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Manali

Day 2 – Manali to Jispa | Begin the Himalayan Ascent

Morning

  • Early morning breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out and begin your road journey to Jispa (approx. 6–7 hours / 140 km)
  • Cross the scenic Atal Tunnel (Asia’s longest high-altitude tunnel)
  • Drive through the breathtaking Lahaul Valley, with views of Chandra and Bhaga rivers

Afternoon

  • Stop for lunch at a roadside café or dhaba en route
  • Continue your journey through picturesque villages like Sissu, Keylong, and Gondla
  • Reach Jispa, a peaceful village nestled along the Bhaga River

Evening

  • Check in to your campsite or hotel
  • Enjoy hot tea amidst the serene Himalayan backdrop
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Jispa

Day 3 – Jispa to Sarchu | Into the Heart of High Himalayas

Morning

  • Wake up early to the crisp mountain air in Jispa
  • Enjoy breakfast at the campsite or hotel
  • Check out and begin your adventurous drive to Sarchu (approx. 5–6 hours / 90 km)
  • Cross Deepak Tal, a stunning high-altitude lake, and Baralacha La Pass (16,040 ft), one of the most scenic passes on the Manali–Leh route

Afternoon

  • Short break for lunch or snacks en route
  • Witness the changing landscapes – from lush valleys to barren mountains
  • Arrive at Sarchu, located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh
  • Take it easy to allow your body to adjust to the higher altitude

Evening

  • Check in to your Swiss camp with attached washroom
  • Enjoy tea and snacks while soaking in the raw beauty of the Himalayan plateau
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Sarchu under a star-studded sky

Day 4: Sarchu to Leh | Journey Through High Passes and Valleys

Morning

  • Wake up early and enjoy a warm breakfast at the campsite
  • Check out and begin the thrilling drive to Leh (approx. 8–9 hours / 250 km)
  • Cross a series of iconic high-altitude passes:
    • Nakee La (15,547 ft)
    • Lachung La (16,616 ft)
  • Navigate the famous Gata Loops – 21 hairpin bends carved into the mountains

Afternoon

  • Stop for lunch at Pang
  • Drive across the vast and surreal Morey Plains
  • Cross Tanglang La Pass (17,480 ft) – one of the highest motorable roads in the world
  • Continue along the Indus River Valley as you descend into Leh

Evening

  • Arrive in Leh and check in to your hotel
  • Rest and relax after the long and scenic drive
  • Light dinner and overnight stay in Leh (acclimatization recommended)

Day 5: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

Morning

  • After breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Nubra Valley
  • Cross the iconic Khardung La Pass (5,602 m / 18,390 ft) – the highest motorable road in the world
  • Enjoy panoramic views of the Indus Valley, Zanskar range, and Saser massif from the pass

Afternoon

  • Drive through the stunning landscapes nestled between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges
  • Enroute visit the historic Diskit Monastery, home to a giant Maitreya Buddha statue
  • Continue towards Hunder Sand Dunes in Nubra Valley

Evening

  • Enjoy activities at the Hunder Sand Dunes:
    • Ride on a Bactrian camel (double-humped) – optional, at own cost

  • Return to your camp/hotel in Nubra Valley

Day 6: Excursion to Turtuk – The Last Village

Morning

  • Post breakfast, depart from Hunder for an excursion to Turtuk, located near the Line of Control (LoC)
  • Explore Turtuk village, part of Baltistan, which was under Pakistani control until 1971
  • Experience the unique Balti culture and warm hospitality of the locals

Afternoon

  • Visit the serene Turtuk Waterfall
  • Explore the Turtuk Museum, showcasing the history and culture of the region
  • Taste the fresh local apricots, a specialty and major source of income for locals
  • Enjoy stunning views of the K2 peak, the world’s second-highest mountain, during your village walk

Evening

  • Drive back to Hunder
  • Overnight stay at the same hotel/camp

Day 7: Hunder to Pangong Lake via Shyok Valley

Morning

  • Early morning departure from Hunder towards Pangong Lake
  • Drive through the scenic Shyok Valley, following the beautiful Shyok River
  • Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and rugged Himalayan terrain along the way

Afternoon

  • Arrive at the stunning Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 ft (4,267 m)
  • Marvel at the lake’s rich deep blue water, changing shades with the sun
  • Learn about Pangong’s geography — a 130 km long lake shared by India and China
  • Spend quiet moments by the lakeside soaking in the pristine natural beauty

Evening

  • Check-in to your camp/cottage near Pangong Lake
  • Enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars
  • Overnight stay at Pangong

Day 8: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass

Morning

  • Wake up to a serene morning by the beautiful Pangong Lake
  • Enjoy breakfast with stunning views of the lake
  • Begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft / 5,360 m), one of the highest motorable passes in the world

Afternoon

  • Enroute, visit the peaceful and scenic Thiksey Monastery – known for its architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha
  • Stop at the famous 3 Idiots Rancho School (photo stop only)
  • Explore the historic Shey Palace, former summer residence of Ladakhi kings

Evening

  • Arrive back in Leh

Day 9 – Leh to Kargil | Explore the Historic Sham Valley

Morning

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out
  • Begin your drive from Leh to Kargil (approx. 6–7 hours / 220 km) via the NH-1D (Srinagar-Leh Highway)
  • Visit en route:
    • Hall of Fame Museum – a tribute to Indian soldiers
    • Gurudwara Pathar Sahib – a sacred Sikh shrine
    • Magnetic Hill – experience the gravity-defying phenomenon
    • Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers at Nimmu

Afternoon

  • Stop for lunch at a local restaurant or packed meal
  • Continue journey through Lamayuru – home to one of Ladakh’s oldest monasteries
  • Pass through the dramatic Moonland landscapes
  • Drive over Fotu La (13,478 ft) – highest point on Srinagar–Leh highway
  • Cross Namika La (12,139 ft) before descending into the Kargil Valley

Day 10: Kargil to Srinagar | Scenic Drive through Zojila Pass

  • Check out and begin your drive to Srinagar (approx. 7–8 hours / 200 km)
  • En route, visit the Kargil War Memorial at Drass – a moving tribute to our heroes of the 1999 Kargil War
  • Drive through Drass Valley, known as the second coldest inhabited place in the world
  • Ascend the thrilling Zoji La Pass (11,575 ft), offering dramatic mountain views

Afternoon

  • Stop for lunch en route near Sonamarg, the ‘Meadow of Gold’
  • Descend into the lush Kashmir Valley, surrounded by pine forests and glacial rivers
  • Continue your drive towards Srinagar

Evening

  • Arrive in Srinagar and check in to your hotel or deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake
  • Enjoy a peaceful evening with Kashmiri hospitality

Day 11 – Srinagar Departure | Farewell to Paradise

  • Wake up to a serene morning in Srinagar
  • Enjoy a traditional Kashmiri breakfast at the hotel or houseboat
  • Check out and prepare for your return journey
  • Transfer to Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport, Srinagar, as per your flight schedule

Afternoon
